6 deaths in dist, 1 in Akola as Vidarbha sees 389 new cases

Nagpur:- With six Covid-19 deaths taking district toll to 99 in Nagpur on Tuesday and 340 in Vidarbha region, total Covid-19 cases reached 12,948 in total. After the announcement on July 27 of 400-plus cases from July 22 to 26 and 555, the number came to 389 for the first time in the last six days under 400. On the other hand, on Tuesday in Vidarbha, 367 patients recovered bringing recovery rate again up to 67%.

Nagpur recorded once more the highest cases in a day among the 11 districts of Vidarbha. The sum reached 12,984, with Nagpur (151), Amravati (67), Buldhana (41), Yavatmal (40), Gadchiroli (38), Chandrapur (24), Wardha (13), Washim (8), Bhandara (6), and Gondia (4).
