On first day of ‘ Janata Darbar ‘ Mundhe receives 49 complaints

Municipal Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe received 49 complaints on Wednesday’s first day of’ Janata Darbar.’ He has named daily from 4 pm to 5 pm as the time for’ Janata Darbar’ to hear people’s complaints. On Tuesday Mundhe took over as Municipal Commissioner. He had received 49 complaints on the very first day of’ Janata Darbar’ on Wednesday.

Several people had made a beeline outside the Municipal Commissioner’s chamber at Civil Lines headquarters in Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). Upon hearing the people’s complaints, the new Municipal Commissioner has asked the concerned officials to take the necessary action and give the people redress.

Mundhe chaired various meetings earlier in the day at which he took stock of the working of various departments. He also visited various sections inside NMC’s new Administrative Building and interacted with the officials.
