Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) bagged the award for best practices in the CSR awards for the “Pankh” project in 2020 with 38 sanitary napkin vending machines installed in the Nagpur and Chandrapur District Schools.
CMD of WCL Sri Rajiv R. Mishra gave credit to all employees of the company for this achievement and called on the team to work in a more oriented manner on CSR activities.
Team members WCL S/Sri Rajesh Nair, Binej Kumar, Fanindra Korada & Avinash Reddy won the prestigious award at the 6th International Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility & Best Practices in the CSR Awards–30-31 January 2020 by the Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad.
