Civic body Nagpur directing all private businesses to be shut down

Nagpur updates:- In the midst of increasing coronavirus threat, Nagpur’s civic body has said all private and corporate establishments in the city will be completely shut down except those that provide essential services.

“All private, corporate and establishments to be completely shut down in the city, except those providing essential services. A fine of Rs 1,000 to be levied for spitting in public places,” the Nagpur Municipal Corporation said.

In India, the total number of COVID-19 cases has now risen to 223, including 32 foreigners, said Friday the Union Health Ministry. So far the government has reported four deaths from infection with coronavirus.
