Nagpur: Navratri pageant commenced from Sat, Sept twenty-nine with zestfulness. Jai Durga Utsav Mandal, Telecom Nagar, is celebrating eco-friendly Navratri this year giving a message of “Save Environment, Save Trees, Save Water.” the normal fervour and gaiety marked the ‘staple’ of divinity Durga. politician Nanda Jichkar, Ruling Party Leader Sandip Joshi and NMC’s Education Committee Chairman Dilip Dive performed to shape and Omaha aarti. Later, the dignitaries felicitated Veena Deshmukh WHO participated within the procession with stunning, ancient apparel. Earlier, the enticing idol of the god was delivered to the pandal during a procession amid beating of dhol and Tasha and conjointly within the company of Rain God. Apart from alternative social and cultural programmes, Jai Durga Utsav Mandal, medium Nagar is organising ‘Maha Raas Garba’ on a weekday, October four and Sat, October five as special attraction. Prizes are going to be awarded for ancient dances and attires.
