It’s really good news for those students who have dyscalculia as the CBSE will now require calculators to be used in board exams. As per the information, only those students who have already registered for the exams under the category’ Children with Special Needs’ (CWSN) can access the facility. It has also informed that it can use the simple basic calculator for the purpose.
The students with dyscalculia will need to directly apply for it. According to the source, the students will have to apply in writing to their principal, after which the request will have to be forwarded to the regional office in question by February 2. After the school/centre administrator is granted final approval by the RO.
And many of the city’s principalities have said this is indeed a positive move and will definitely help the special students.
