If complete lockdown returns, total curfew in town: Mundhe
Nagpur:- Municipal commissioner Tukaram Mundhe said on Friday that if complete lockdown is re-imposed in the coming days, there will be total curfew in which only medical emergencies with restrictions will be permitted, even on critical services.
At a joint meeting with top Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) officials and the NMC headquarters police department, Mundhe instructed them to get into ‘action mode’ and first strictly enforce the Covid-19 guidelines.
Mundhe told that all choices, including complete lockout, are available when people still don’t listen. “As in the case of many other cities, I want to stop complete lockdown,” he said.
On Thursday he had left for Mumbai and returned in the evening. The July 25 visit and meeting with police officers caused speculations about full lockdown.
