Maha Metro feeder service for MIHAN starts
The Maha Metro finally launched its feeder service to the companies operating in Mihan from Khapri Mihan station. The facilities were inaugurated through the hands of Dr. Brijesh Dixit, managing director of Maha Metro.
The Maha Metro had prepared to enter 16 separate memoranda of understanding for the feeder service. Employee working hours in various companies based in Mihan vary. Therefore, there was a need to provide adequate computing facilities from their home to the metro station and from the Metro station to their place of work.
Given this need, through the joint collaboration of Kinetic Green, KHS Associates, Patni Automobile, Ride e-Bounce, and Bharat Vikas Parishad, vehicles such as e-rickshaw, e-scooter, e-bike, LPG car, and LPG rickshaw have been pressed into service. Later feeder service was in operation from Khapri Metro Station, in the form of e-cycle and buses.
Workers at the organization also expressed excitement about the launch of these new services. More than 10,000 employees working at various Mihan companies will benefit and the services will provide direct and indirect jobs to over 30,000 people.
