Nagpur entrepreneur sponsors red zone police station sanitation
Nagpur:- The Pachpaoli Police Station, located in the North Nagpur Containment Zone, was sanitized with the aid of a private company to ensure the health of personnel fighting against the Covid-19 spread.
City police took a fresh start on the first day of the third lockdown process 3.0, battling the crisis and strictly following the norms.
In view of the cops’ plight and their susceptibility to coronavirus as a result of continuous mass exposure on the highways, entrepreneur Ajay Uttarwar funded a round of disinfectant spray at the Pachpaoli police station situated in front of an institutional quarantine facility.
From this quarantine center, about 17 persons were found positive corona. Most of this center’s inhabitants are from the Satranjipura corona hotspot in the city where significant numbers of patients have been found positive in the past.
Uttarwar, who volunteered, has continued his efforts despite some setbacks in his company, saying he wants to give the Covid warriors selfless support as a symbol of their gratitude. “Apart from other places including police stations, I’m sanitizing many food distribution centers in the area,” Uttarwar said.
Cops’ sticks, their chairs, cupboards, almirahs, cars, cabins, and chambers were disinfected by the sprayer.
Pachpaoli police station lockup, computer room, station house, wireless sets, and even branch wing detection were disinfected.
The chamber of Senior inspector of police Kishor Nagrale was also sprayed with the disinfectant.
Later, the disinfectant sprayer also sanitized the barricades and shades at the entry point of the containment zone at Kamal Chowk, where the cops have installed a corona effigy to increase public awareness.
