Nagpur Resolution: Holistic approach to empower citizens’ adopted during DARPG conference

Complex policy formulation and strategic decision taking, progress management, hiring key staff, coordination and assessment are the main focus of the resolution.

Image result for Nagpur Resolution: Holistic approach to empower citizens' adopted during DARPG conferenceDuring the two-day Valedictory session of the Regional Conference “Improving Published Service Delivery–Roll of Governments” held in Nagpur on 22 December, the “Nagpur resolution: Holistic approach to empowering people” While adopting the Resolution, Nitin Gadkari, Minister of the Union for Road Transport, and Highways, and Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (MoS) of the DoNER Government, were present.

Image result for Nagpur Resolution: Holistic approach to empower citizens' adopted during DARPG conferenceThe Conference agreed that by providing policy measures for the better delivery of services, public charter update and implementation of legislation and benchmarking standards on the ongoing update, government in India, government Maharashtra, the state commission on the right to public services and participating governments will work together to empower people.

The Conference also agreed to follow a holistic approach to structural government grievance reforms by enhancing mapping, formulation of reporting matrices, collection of data and quality evaluation of grievance redress, and provide the States, Ministries and Government of India departments with the ability to build web portals and a holistic and enhanced service approach.

Image result for Nagpur Resolution: Holistic approach to empower citizens' adopted during DARPG conferenceThe resolution covers the diverse policy and strategic decision-making, monitoring progress, selection, cooperation and assessment and achievement of the common sense of identity by sharing technical expertise between two countries under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Program in the field of enhanced service delivery.

It agreed that the Conference would work on the provision of better service to empower people through greater cooperation between DARPG and the participating States and that the Good Governance Index will be published on a yearly basis in order to identify governance qualities in 10 sectors, particularly the social welfare and infrastructure sectors of the Union, State and Distributor

The conference was organized in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra and the Maharashtra State Commission of the Right to Public Services by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DarpG) of the Government of India.
