Nagpur’s Hotel Ashok provides 1400 food packets for on-duty govt on Janta Curfew day. Personnel
To express appreciation for their efforts during the Coronavirus outbreak, the owner of Hotel Ashok located at Laxmi Nagar in Nagpur, Sanjay Gupta, voluntarily distributed 1,400 lunch boxes to government employees on duty.
The hotel was prepared to distribute 700 boxes in the morning, but after finding out that there was more requirement and no other hotel was available to fulfill the same requirement, the Hotel Ashok team immediately increased the production and delivered another 700 parcels within 90 minutes.
In a press release issued by the hotel, it was reported that government employees who are in duty during Janta curfew left their homes. They are constantly in service for public safety and protection.
During this difficult time of the outbreak, Nagpur people thank all the doctors, nurses, NMC officials, police force, collector’s office and government bodies who are doing their best to prevent this deadly virus from spreading among Nagpurians.
Hotel Ashok also provides home delivery of free food to senior citizens residing within 1 km of the hotel starting on 23 March.
