NMC employees will not get 7th pay before Diwali
Recently the Nagpur Municipal Corporation has sent a proposal to the government seeking the advantages of seventh pay commission (CPC). The proposal was sent when the final body meeting of the civic body. As per the data, the finance department has ready the August month bills as per the seventh CPC expecting approval by the govt. However, even when the primary week of September, the approval has, however, to come back and also the government has not taken any call during this matter. A GR issued by the government declared that the workers of NMC can get October month remuneration before the Diwali, however, on October nine the aforementioned GR was off. and every one the hopes of the workers shattered and that they are extremely thwarted by it.
The civic administration has not ready the remuneration bills for August month because of the delay of approval. And it had assigned token remuneration to the workers and academics on the premise of July month. because of the web remuneration system, before the employment of earlier month’s account, new bills can’t be uploaded within the system. during this context, the NMC must give remuneration of September based on July month. As per the civic chief directives, the accounts and finance officer issued a circular on September 11 and asked the whole department HODs to submit September and Oct month’s bills before October 18.
