Radio school in Nagpur The effect of COVID-19 has started to ease
It’s a unique move by the civic body, as it allowed the Nagpur radio school to get started just to ease the virus outbreak impact. According to sources, the venture is known as School Outside School, which happens to be the Governmentâ€TMs ambitious scheme also called the —Result-oriented research, which is focused on skill development programâ€TM carried out under the name, has the NMC head nod of the region. With this initiative, the Radio School under All India Radio Nagpur (MW 585 Khz or 512.8 mt) has now begun work in the city since May 1.
According to sources, on every Tuesday and Friday, the broadcasting of the programs by the said radio began operating from May 1 at 10.35 a.m. twice a week. The main concept behind the special educational radio programme, during the lockdown process, is to give students daily research options at home.
According to the Department of School Education, the students are now required to listen to the program on a regular basis and thus continue their studies on the available time as per class and subject through the radio program.
The Department of Women and Child Welfare and the Department of Education Zilla Parishad have come together to have a registered list of parents along with their mobile numbers. The program was organized together with the teachers with the help of Anganwadi Sevika, while the study material is also placed under various categories, such as pre-primary, standard 1,2and standard 3 to 5.
