Sales of Covid-19 safety gear kiosk at Nagpur railway station
Nagpur: Nagpur has agreed to set up Covid-19 preventive kiosks at 8 railway stations in an effort to combat the coronavirus. Wednesday after 24 hours of the agreement, a kiosk was opened at platform number 2/3 of Nagpur station.
Senior Divisional Business Director, said these kiosks are part of non-tariff income operations. The kiosks will be developed by Pune-based Medicare Solutions. This is the fifth innovative project of Central Railway to take measures against Covid-19.
“The seven other stations, including Ajni, Wardha, Ballarshah, Sewagram, Dhamangaon, Betul and Chandrapur, are named. Central Railway ‘s annual charge from the group would be Rs4 lakh, “Patil said.
