Special bus services for the Dhammachakra Pravartan celebration
The Transport Department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation arranged special’ Aapli Bus’ services during the 63rd Dhammachakra Pravartan Day to be celebrated in Deekshabhoomi on 8 October.
The stage is set for a grand celebration at Deekshabhoomi which sees lakhs of pilgrims coming to the city. Between 7 to 10 October, more than 100 special busses will be run between different locations to Deekshabhoomi. Such special busses from Deekhsabhoomi to Dragon Palace in Kamptee will also be available.
City buses run every two minutes on the Kamptee bus stop-Dragon Palace-Sitabuldi to Deekshabhoomi road. The Ambazari T-Deekshabhoomi-Sitabuldi road will be serviced every five minutes. There’s going to be a bus from Nara to Deekshabhoomi. Kapilanagar to the Deekshabhoomi route every 10 minutes. Nagsenvan-Yashodhara Nagar-Sitabuldi bus to Deekshabhoomi bus every 10 minutes. Ambedkar Square, Sitabuldi-Deekshabhoomi. In addition, city busses will also run from Rameshawar, Rani Durgawati Square, Vaishali Nagar and Garoba.
Special free food distribution centers for devotees to and from Deekshabhoomi will also be given, sources said. Bus routes have been constructed in compliance with the guidelines of the Transport Department and other government authorities.
