यात्रेच्या माध्यमातून नागरिकांना नाविण्यपूर्ण संकल्पना, त्याचे पैलू तसेच विभागामार्फत राबण्यात येणाऱ्या उपक्रमांबाबत माहिती देण्यात येईल. तसेच नाविन्यपूर्ण कल्पना असलेल्या नागरिकांची नोंदणी केली जाईल. जिल्ह्यातील नवउद्योजकांचा आणि नाविन्यपूर्ण कल्पनांचा शोध घेऊन त्यांना स्थानिक पातळीवर व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करुन देणे, नवउद्योजकांना प्रोत्साहन, मार्गदर्शन, निधी आणि आवश्यक पाठबळ पुरविणे, जिल्ह्यातील उद्योजकता व नाविन्यपूर्ण परिसंस्था बळकट करणे हा या यात्रे मागचा उद्देश आहे. ज्या उमेदवारांनी नाविन्यपूर्ण उपक्रम केले किंवा ते करण्यास इच्छुक आहेत त्यांना त्यांच्या कौशल्याची माहिती इतरांना देण्याची संधी या यात्रेद्वारे मिळणार आहे.

नागपूर जिल्ह्यातील सर्व महाविद्यालयांचा (कला, वाणिज्य, विज्ञान, तंत्रनिकेतन, अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालये, यांचा देखील) या शासनाचे उपक्रमात सहभाग राहणार आहे, अधिकाधिक उमेदवारांनी या स्टार्टअप व नाविन्यता यात्रेचा स्वतचा व्यवसाय सुरु करण्यासाठी लाभ घ्यावा, असे आवाहन जिल्हाधिकारी, तथा कौशल्य, रोजगार, उद्योजकता व नाविन्यता जिल्हा कार्यकारी समितीचे अध्यक्ष आर. विमला यांनी केलेले आहे. उमेदवारांनी महाराष्ट्र राज्य नाविन्यता सोसायटीचे msins.gov.in या संकेतस्थळावर भेट द्यावी, तसेच स्थानिक शासकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्था (ITI) जिल्हा कौशल्य विकास, रोजगार व उद्योजकता मार्गदर्शनक केंद्र, नागपूर (0712-2531213) यांचेशी संपर्क साधावा.
