Dr. Anup Marar is named the ‘2019 Intellectual of the Year’
Nagpur: Rifacimento International is a well-established name that publishes reference books in the Who’s Who genre. As of 1982, they have collected and written biographies. They also recently included Dr. Anup Marar from Nagpur in the 2019 Intellectual of the Year award category for his contribution in the area of health care. He was presented with a certificate and a memento.
Since 2000 Dr. Anup Marar has been the President of the Orange City Hospital & Research Institute (OCHRI). He was previously associated with the Radhikabai Meghe Memorial Medical Trust— Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha, as Chief Medical Superintendent and Coordinator in Chief.
He is affiliated with various government-registered bodies including Orange City Bahuudesshiya Sanstha, Saraswati Vidyalaya Alumni Association, Dead Foundation Dignity, Nagpur Hospitals Association, Save Merit Save Nation and Poonam Pride Housing Society. He has played a leading role in the creation and implementation of models for the sustainable health care sector.
His name was included in “Who’s Who” of Asia Pacific, Asian Noble Achievers, and Reference Asia: Asia’s Who’s Who of Men and Women of Attainment. He is also Maharashtra Chapter Honorary Advisor to the Association of Healthcare Providers (India) and Member of the Visitors Board, Indira Gandhi Government Medical College.
An ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor and Accredited NABH Assessor; he is also Founding Editor-in-Chief of “Jaivik” Newspaper, propagating moral and ethical principles for dissemination among Central India’s medical fraternity.
Dr. Marar owes his success to his parents and family, Mr. Udaybhaskar Nair, his friends & well-wishers and the city of Nagpur.
