Ministers of the Maharashtra Congress meet with Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi to discuss their role in governing.

Maharashtra’s newly inducted 12 Congress ministers in the Maha Vikas Aghadi met with the leader of Congress Rahul Gandhi at his residence in New Delhi on Tuesday. The leaders also met today with the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi, to discuss their role in the current government and to hold a feedback session on the alliance.

The party must also appoint a new legislative head of state after last month’s election of Balasaheb Thorat as a cabinet minister.
