Nagpur Police are now providing travel passes to the Needy

This has come as a great relief to people who are stranded in the city and want to return home as they are forced to stay in the lockdown phase, as called by the Prime Minister. Now, the Maha Police are giving them travel passes to people who are willing to return home from Nagpur. There are thousands of workers and others stranded in different parts of the city, including the shelter, who can now return their homes in Chattisgarh and MP along with other places.

The order also contains special instructions for the police not to stop trucks and vehicles carrying food grains and vegetables for obvious reasons. Talking about the same Mr. Milind Bharambe, the Special Inspector General of the Police, issued this order after rising demand to allow people stranded in the city to return home. The number of applications for the same has increased in the Office of the Director-General of the Police Office.

The lockdown has had an effect in a state that has spread the movement of the virus to people who have been prevented from travelling. As a result, many people are seen contacting the DGP Maha office to get emergency passes to return home for travel. With increasing demand, the issue was discussed and the police, therefore, decided to allow people to travel with the required passes provided by the police.
