Eight nomination papers were filed in Nagpur district
12 candidates have filed their nomination papers from the 8 assembly constituencies in the district for the assembly elections2019. So far, 680 candidates have been nominated. The filing of nominations started from September 27 and no application was filed with the Election Commission till Tuesday. Eight candidates filed their nomination papers on Tuesday. A total of eight nominations were filed for the Hingana Assembly, two for the Umred Legislative Assembly, one for the South-West Nagpur constituency, one for South Nagpur, one for Central Nagpur and one for North Nagpur. Madhuri Vijender Rajput, Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist) and Madhav Champtarao Bhande (Independent) are in the Hingana assembly constituency.
Pandurang Modaku Shambarkar, Umbredite Party of India (API) and Vilas Ganesh Zodape (Independent) filed their nomination papers in the Umred assembly constituency. Nagpur from south-west Nagpur constituency by Yogesh Krishnarao Thackeray CPI (M), by Uday Rambhauji Borkar (Bahujan Mahaparti) from the south, Praful Hemraj Bokade (Independent) from central Nagpur and Kartik Ballalji head from North Nagpur assembly constituency (Vishwa Hindu Janasanta Party). He has filed his nomination papers. Due to the October 6 holidays, a large number of candidates will be filing on October 3 and 4.
