केंद्रीय मंत्री गडकरी नागपुरातील एका कार्यक्रमात म्हणाले की, ‘ते पेट्रोल-डिझेल च्या गाडीत बसणार नाहीत. केंद्रीय मंत्री गडकरी म्हणाले की, ‘मी दिल्लीत हायड्रोजन कार वापरतो. मी नागपुरात इलेक्ट्रिक कार वापरतो. पण पोलीस आणि सुरक्षा मला बुलेटप्रुफ कारशिवाय इतर कोणत्याही कारमध्ये बसू देत नाहीत.
