Focus on Empowerment: Meet at Bhari Village PM (PM Narendra Modi) Modi’s visit will include addressing a meeting of women’s self-help groups (SHG) at Bhari village along the Yavatmal-Nagpur road. A sprawling pandal spanning 40 acres is being prepared for the event, with efforts to accommodate over one lakh SHG representatives.

Collector Dr Ashiya Takes the Lead Collector Dr Pankaj Ashiya heads a comprehensive administrative effort with 30 committees formed to ensure the seamless execution of the event. The State Government plans to issue a program brochure in four languages – English, Marathi, Sanskrit, and Hindi.

A Return Visit: Fourth Time in Yavatmal This marks Modi’s fourth visit to Yavatmal. His earlier engagements in the district date back to his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2004, with a public meeting held at Postal Ground. In 2014, as the BJP candidate for Prime Minister, Modi visited Dabhadi near Arni before the Lok Sabha elections. Post his election, he attended a women’s self-help groups’ meet in Pandharakawda ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
